Jingle, Jangle, Jingle...

Here comes Mr. Bingle.


Mr. Bingle was a character found in Maison Blanche department store on Canal Street, in New Orleans, Lousiana every year around Christmas.

When my favorite Aunt Sue lived in New Orleans with one of my other aunts, she bought one of these adorable stuffed snowmen. She gave her Mr. Bingle to me and since her tragic death in December of 1980, I have treasured this gift more than I could share with words. In honor of her gift to me, I made a layout earlier this year. Her funeral was New Year's Eve 1980 and it is always at this time of year that I remember her, thank her for all she did in her short life, and miss her like crazy.
