He still hasn't completed and was a little upset that I was snappin' a picture of his unfinished project. He's so cute! He did, however, acknowledge that scrappin' is much harder than it looks. He is going for the rustic/distressed look.

Ribbon storage suggestion

So each

"page" of ribbons slides in and out of the box like books on a bookshelf. You could easily fit at least ten "pages" in this box.

Obviously, I haven't decorated the outside and stuff.

Technology...look at it go!

There is a phrase that I have often heard.... "The only thing that is constant...is change." As far as I am concerned, that is the over-arching them of technology. It seems as soon as I grasp something, there is a new version or a better program. Then, back to the drawing board... or the keyboard, as it were.
It keeps me on my toes, but I think that I kind of like that. Fortunately I love learning and this is one area where there is always something more to learn.
Go figure.....

Scrap that daily routine! Challenge

Hi, all. Not too long ago, on the thread, K said something that made me want to host this challenge. As benign as it may seem, she mentioned (and I paraphrase) that my dishwasher must be busy with the number of people that live in my house.

It nudged that little hamster in my mind, and a challenge started brewing. I wanted to see some of your daily routines. More than just seeing your routines, I am curious to see how you will lay them out.

Scrap Your Routine! Challenge

Use your daily routine as the theme of a 1 or 2 page layout. The layout can use any style you wish, after all this is YOUR routine. Show us how you start your day, spend your day, or end your day. You could even show that and everything between.

The challenge will run from today (March 17, 2007) through Saturday, March 31, 2007. We will vote for our favorite (through PMs to me), and the winner will receive a grab box from me, filled with goodies.

Since I will be in the hospital March 28th-March 30th, I really look forward to coming home to these as a welcome-home present. I am hoping they will inspire me to get back to my daily routine.
